摘要: MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are endogenous non-coding small RNAs that can regulate the expression of complementary mRNA targets. Identifying tissue-specific miRNAs is first step toward understanding biological functions miRNAs, which include regulation tissue differentiation and maintenance identity. In this study, we performed RNA library sequencing in adult mouse testis ovary to reveal their characteristic organ- gender-specific profiles elucidate characteristics expressed reproductive system. We obtained 10,852 11 744 clones from respectively (greater than 10,000 per organ), included 6630 (159 genes) 10,192 (154 known miRNAs. A high level efficiency miRNA was achieved: 61% (6630 clones/10,852 clones) 87% (10,192/11,744) for respectively. signatures ovary; 55 were detected highly, exclusively, or predominantly ovary, discovered two novel Male-biased occurred on X-chromosome. Our data provide important information sex differences should facilitate studies organ-specific roles
