摘要: Abstract : This literature review of the effects turbidity and suspended material in aquatic environments covers following subjects: definitions, units measure, methods measurement; origins; environments. Turbidity, regardless multiplicity measurement, is an expression optical properties water that cause light to be scattered absorbed rather than transmitted a straight line. Turbidity not same as siltation, although terms have been used synonymously past. The various measure include Jackson UNIT (JTU), Formazin Unit (FTU), Nephelometric (NTU). measuring percent transmission or weight per volume concentration particulates are based on either gravimetric techniques.
