摘要: UNLABELLED The surgical treatment of benign liver tumours (focal nodular hyperplasia (FNH) and hepatic adenoma) remains controversial. From 1984 to 1990, all 51 women aged below 50 years who presented with presumed without chronic disease underwent tumour resection. Preoperative assessment included tests, ultrasonography dynamic computed tomography in patients, plus angiography (n = 20), magnetic resonance imaging 22) technetium-sulphur colloid scintigraphy 19). aims this study were compare preoperative final pathological diagnosis determine whether was justified. suggested FNH 18 patients adenoma 11. In 22 the distinction between could not be determined before operation. Operative procedures resection one segment or less two segments 14 three more 15. There no postoperative death serious complication. after examination resected specimens 36 (71 per cent), including operation have FNH, 12 (24 cent) malignant lesions (6 cent): hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) arising normal liver, fibrolamellar carcinoma, containing areas HCC patient each. IN CONCLUSION (1) precise difficult despite new methods; (2) can go unrecognized; (3) these carried out safely. Resection should performed young when a is firmly established.
