摘要: Abstract The treatment of tanning wastewater was studied by means reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration. Tests were carried out on laboratory scale using membranes polyamide (reverse osmosis) polysulfone (ultrafiltration). evaluation the system performed chemical analysis, pH measurements visible spectrophotometry. Effects protein contained in industrial effluent, applied pressure feed temperature permeate flux analyzed. membrane used allowed us to obtain permeates with a low chromium (III) content (7–10 mg/L) but appreciable amounts SO4= (1–3 g/l), Cl− (9–14 g/L) Na+ (5–10 g/L). presence polymers determined original effluent concentrates obtained osmosis. Finally, it established that during operation osmosis, transport H+(H3O+) from concentrate produced.
