摘要: The globalisation of markets is having a profound effect on business and information technology strategies individual organisations. move away from nationally focused units to global product-market focus requires an effective international coordination firm's activities. To support outlook, many firms are implementing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Although ERP has become the de facto standard for organisations there few documented examples implementation. This paper seeks make contribution this important area. A case study analysis strategic context implementation project in multinational textiles group presented. It illustrates transformation conglomerate organised businesses into pan-European organisation. demonstrates organisational technical complexity identifies factors that determined total cost system. Opportunities future research outlined.
