Associated factors and prevalence of erectile dysfunction in hemodialysis patients

摘要: Purpose: The proposal of this study was to determine the prevalence and associated factors erectile dysfunction (ED) among hemodialysis (HD) patients. Materials Methods: This a cross-sectional based on data collected from HD male Clinical, demographic laboratory all patients were in three clinics December 2010 June 2011. Patients answered questions function domain International Index Erectile Function. Data evaluated by descriptive analysis univariate (ULRA) multivariate logistic regression (MLRA). Results: Three hundred five participated study. ED 68.19%. with diabetes (DM), benign prostatic hyperplasia, glomerulonephritis as cause chronic renal failure (CRF), smoking habits, lower creatinine levels (ULRA), use calcium channel blocker (MLRA), aging, education level, alcohol consumption, DM (as CRF) coronary insufficiency (ULRA MLRA). Conclusions: highly prevalent men. It independently current alcohol, long (even for those who do not drink more), CRF, blockers calcium.
