摘要: Laser-induced photoacoustic breakdown detection is applied for the determination of particles in aqueous dispersion. Polystyrene (latex), alumina and thoriasol different sizes are investigated demonstration. Laser pulses at 500 nm with 28 ns pulse width (FWHM), generated by an excimer (λ = 308 nm) pumped dye laser, focused into particle dispersions to produce breakdown. The laser energy fixed a value lower than threshold pure water initiate dielectric only when present given focus volume. Focus volume parameters size dependent thresholds calculated results compared data from literature. Dependence values on chemical composition determined polystyrene, particles.
