[Also in Division H2] Following rectifier 10 the power supply of a multi-track stereo tape player is smoothing circuit 11 including capacitor 15 coil 16 which also forms solenoid controlling operation cam mechanism (Fig. 2), for stepping playback head across tape, an actuating pulse being obtained by closing switch 22 to discharge through 16.
