摘要: The extruded electric power cables have substituted the paper in medium level voltage, giving advantages manufacturing processes, as well cable laying, maintenance, operation and terminal splice assembly. In spite of this result, a more accurate research on breakdown strength distribution is needed, order to improve knowledge insulation reliability, its consequence design qualification. With aim, work shows methodology evaluate quality by means sample tests. Weibull was adopted, shape scale parameters were obtained short time confidence limits Monte Carlo technique. service reliability estimated using geometric transformation equivalence applied stress. Considering experimental results, it concluded that tested samples has good performance with stress, 15 kV voltage class, since failure rate resulted acceptable values, expected number failures. >
