摘要: Abstract In this work, innovative proton exchange membranes containing dicationic ionic liquids are developed for elevated temperature fuel cells applications under anhydrous conditions. The composite based on polybenzimidazole (PBI) and liquid 1,6-di(3-methylimidazolium) hexane bis (hexafluorophosphate) (PDC 6 ) or monocationic 1-Butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate (PMC 4 prepared with solution casting method. analyses of the results demonstrate promising characteristics such as high conductivity cell performance phosphoric acid (PA) doped PDC in comparison PA PMC PBI at temperatures. Dicationic number charge carriers provides suitable channels transfer membranes. 78 mS cm −1 power density 0.40 W cm −2 (at 0.5 V) achieved PBI/ionic mole ratio: 4 at 180 °C condition.
