摘要: The extraction of groundwater can generate land subsidence by causing the compaction susceptible aquifer systems, typically unconsolidated alluvial or basin-fill systems comprising aquifers and aquitards. Various ground-based remotely sensed methods are used to measure map subsidence. Many areas caused pumping have been identified monitored, corrective measures slow halt devised. Two principal means mitigate withdrawal—reduction withdrawal, artificial recharge. Analysis simulation aquifer-system follow from basic relations between head, stress, compressibility, flow addressed primarily using two approaches—one based on conventional theory one linear poroelasticity theory. Research development improve assessment analysis compaction, accompanying potential ground ruptures needed in topic hydromechanical behavior aquitards, role horizontal deformation, application differential synthetic aperture radar interferometry, regional-scale coupled deformation support resource management hazard mitigation measures.
