Tunneling spectrum indicating phonon contribution to high T c oxide superconductivity

摘要: Improved tunneling spectroscopy with [BSCCO(2212)/SiOx]/Au tip point contact junction enables us to observe significant peaks in the conductance derivative spectrum\(\frac{{d^2 I}}{{d^2 V}} - V\). Their peak energy eVi could be systematically assigued byeVi−Δ = ηe0 +ħωi(ph) withn=0,1,2. Here,ħωi means each phonon mode and e0 72meV was found just corresponding breathing of Cu−O bond stretching CuO2 plane, which indicates that these characteristic optical phonons play an essential role high Tc superconductivity. The infrared reflectance spectrum by Capizzi et al. on similar substance is correspondence.
