摘要: Abstract The aim of this study was to synthesize a new tooth-filling material and evaluate the in vitro behavior mechanical properties. New composite cement prepared optimized by mixing hydroxyapatite (HAp), alumina/zirconia nanocomposite (HANBG), nanobioactive glass (NBG). Then, compared with conventional ionomer for different parameters such as initial setting time composition determined X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscope studies. HANBG showed an increase hardness (1.13 GPa) Young׳s modulus (22.89 GPa). In bioactivity cements studied using simulated body fluid better biocompatibility confirmed HAp layer formation. Similarly, antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus , Lactobacillus Salmonella typhi Pseudomonas Klebsiella Bacillus spp. also studied. From observed results, it concluded that (a dental NBG nanocomposite) samples show improved time, bioactivity, antimicrobial activity. Therefore, can act potential candidate tooth restoration applications.
