摘要: Abstract Background: Impulsive behaviours in patients with cluster B personality disorders are associated low glucose metabolism and regional cerebral blood flow the frontal cortex subcortical structures. The aim of this study is to confirm presence a particular pattern brain perfusion sample borderline (BPD) anti-social disorder (ASPD) using single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT). Methods: A SPECT was performed 37 BPD or ASPD (and no Axis I diagnosis) 34 healthy control participants. Data were acquired on triple head Toshiba gamma camera. Scatter attenuation correction done. Reconstructed images analyzed by Statistical Parametrical Mapping (SPM99). Results: There significant differences age gender distributions between controls. With regard functional imaging results, characterized reduced (rCBF) right temporal prefrontal areas, including lateral (BA 21), frontopolar 10) ventrolateral prefontal 47). Conclusions: Patients who showed impulsive behaviour have diminished rCBF areas cortex.
