摘要: Abstract The immigration process entails many changes in the lives of those who emigrate including establishing oneself a new country. There is continuing interest what happens to health undergo this process. This qualitative study investigated perceived and health-related experiences sample mid-life immigrant women explored relationships between determinants their connected immigration. Forty-two participated study. While respondents were relatively well educated, current socio-economic status was low. defined holistic manner, personal focused on physical ability function. functionality closely related women's roles as resources for families’ well-being. Several themes identified that change homelands adults: health, adapting rebuilding lives. Women are unlikely talk about non-physical aspects unless asked general context family-centredness well-being mediating factor all health; it family unit final point adjudication women.
