摘要: In this paper an attempt is made to illustrate some ways in which social, economic and environmental indicators can be combined tell a coherent story about the sustainability of human well-being. Using examples from fields health, fishing industry energy, it argued that one’s success at constructing single comprehensive system well-being will always limited by particular point departure or indicators. If indeed case, then would helpful for researchers abandon attempts construct Utopian systems favour agreed upon lists important goals, monitoring procedures used implement progressive social change.
