摘要: BACKGROUND Generalized vitiligo is an autoimmune disease characterized by melanocyte loss, which results in patchy depigmentation of skin and hair, associated with elevated risk other diseases. METHODS To identify generalized susceptibility loci, we conducted a genomewide association study. We genotyped 579,146 single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) 1514 patients who were European-derived white (CEU) ancestry compared the genotypes publicly available control from 2813 CEU persons. then tested 50 SNPs two replication sets, one comprising 677 independent 1106 controls 183 simplex trios 332 multiplex families.
