摘要: Inhibition of blood delta-aminolevulinic acid dehydratase(ALA-D) activity by lead was studied in vivo and vitro. In vivo, a negative linear correlation (r = -0.85) found between the logarithmic values ALA-D levels. vitro inhibitory effect on increased both with contact time temperature before assay. Maximum enzyme inhibition occurred after 14 h at 25 degrees C. lead, as well vitro, is suppressed addition zinc or cysteine. The ratios increase linearly concentrations. brought about cysteine can be used to identify cases low no intoxication involved. same technique also detect which may concealed presumably high initial observed some patients.
