摘要: Platinum–germanium and platinum–tin catalysts supported on silica, containing different amounts of Sn Ge, were synthesized using the surface organometallic chemistry metals technique. The characterized transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectra absorption near edge structure extended fine structure; tested in liquid-phase selective hydrogenation furfural. atomic ratio between two resulted key factor towards optimization activity selectivity bimetallic catalysts. more active than parent Pt/SiO2 catalyst These results can be accounted for by considering a new type site having an architecture which would favor C=O group is created, allowing increased obtaining furfuryl alcohol.
