The influence of chronotype in the daily lives of young children.

摘要: Research on chronotypic differences has been conducted for many years, however, until recently, little attention paid to young children. The current study examined the influence of morningness-eveningness in daily lives 2 4 year olds (291 females, 230 males, 8 gender not given) via an online survey completed by 529 mothers from across United States. results replicated previous findings sleep-wake patterns and development early childhood. chronotype sleep habits, routines schedules was also explored. At both bed wake times, evening type (E-type) children were more likely report challenges. For a while, morning (M-type) tended fall asleep easily themselves up morning, E-types show bedtime resistance, negative mood have conflicts with their parents. In M-type often stuck normal routine days when child had be somewhere at 7:00 am, whereas E-type employed different strategies get out door. Bedtime differed chronotype. Individual impact social interactions are evident on. A greater understanding how they affect future is needed.
