摘要: Active database systems have been a hot research topic for quite some years now. However, while “active functionality” has claimed many systems, and notions such as objects” or “events” are used in areas (even beyond technology), it is not yet clear which functionality management system must support order to be legitimately considered an active system. In this paper, we attempt clarify the notion of system” well support. We thereby distinguish mandatory features that needed qualify system, desired nice have.
