摘要: The optical limiting performances of seven asymmetric pentaazadentate porphyrin-like cadmium complexes have been measured at 532 nm with nanosecond pulses. In a f/38 geometry, sample transmission 0.51–0.80 in 2 mm cell, the thresholds for these were 1.4–3.0 mJ/cm2. throughputs limited to 0.31–1.13 J/cm2 incident fluences as high 3.5 J/cm2. throughput was strongly influenced by nature ligand. Lower bounds ratio triplet excited-state ground-state absorption cross sections estimated 3.4–5.7. lower thresholds, throughputs, well ease modification ligands, make promising candidates power limiters.
