摘要: This paper describes an agent-based model for exploring the effects of traditional supervisory merit-based promotions and hierarchical organizational structure on flow information. Each agent simulating a worker follows same rules handling information promotion: Agents differ only in breadth they consider important. The considers three types information, "red," "yellow," "green." One-third workers (red) red (yellow) both yellow equally final third (green) red, yellow, green Red are more focused, restricted, narrow-minded type important, whereas unfocused unrestricted. Starting with one supervisor moving toward tiered through promotions, objective simulation was to determine how this affects that results indicate narrowly focused will dominate structure, thereby suppressing do not
