Highly photo- and electroluminescent 1,3-diketonate Eu(III) complexes with spiro-fluorene-xantphos dioxide ligands: synthesis and properties

摘要: Spiro-fluorene-xanthene-bis(diphenylphosphine) dioxide turned out to be a particularly effective co-sensitizer for Eu(hfa)3, Eu(tta)3 and Eu(nta)3 photoluminescent complexes. These ternary complexes proved good materials pure red color OLED devices. Two complexes, Eu(nta)3, were selected device testing. Surprisingly, these displayed excellent performance within known Eu(III) as materials. The electroluminescence (EL) spectra of Eu(tta)3SFXPO Eu(nta)3SFXPO OLEDs show only Eu emission with peak at 612 nm. CIE coordinates are (0.65,0.32) (0.66,0.33) OLEDs, which means that the from Eu-based is red. At brightness 100 Cd m−2, have an external quantum efficiency 2.4%, power 0.6 lm W−1 current 3.2 A−1. To our knowledge, this value more than best has been previously reported solution-processed m−2. More excitingly, shows even better performance. possesses 3.7%, 1.0 5.1 devices testing manufactured by solution-processing method.
