摘要: It is commonly held that range anxiety, in the form of experienced stress, constitutes a usage barrier, particularly during early period battery electric vehicle (BEV) usage. To better understand factors play role stress this critical adaptation to limited-range mobility, we examined individual differences context situation. In field experiment, 74 participants drove BEV on 94-km round trip, which was tailored lead situation (i.e., small available safety buffer). Higher route familiarity, trust estimation system, system knowledge, subjective competence, and internal control beliefs dealing with technology were clearly related lower stress; emotional stability low neuroticism) partly stress. These results can inform strategies aimed at reducing usage, as well contribute understanding drive user experience low-resource systems, key topic green ergonomics.
