摘要: The psychologic effect of the preoperative visit by an anesthetist has been compared with pentabarbital for preanesthetic medication. Patients receiving pentobarbital 1 hour before operation became drowsy but it could not be shown that they calm. who had received a (informing them about events which were to occur on day and anesthetic administered) more likely calm operation. importance probably explains, in part, difficulties previous investigators have showing sedative effects from barbiturates narcotics tremendous emotional significance patient illness or may explain why physicians are able exert such influence upon their patients.
