Adoption of sustainable land management technologies: revisiting impact to community livelihood in west Usambara mountains, Tanzania

摘要: This study attempts to revisit and assess the adoption impact of sustainable land management technology practices on community livelihood in West Usambara Mountains. Primary data were collected through household questionnaires, focus group discussions, key informants interviews personal observations while secondary from relevant local authority reports records. A total 160 households interviewed. Descriptive statistics, binary logistic regression, multiple linear dietary diversity independent T-test statistics used analyze data. Research findings found that, area is still experiencing soil erosion problem i.e. about 61.9% facing it. The regression model reveals that number members; farm size average income per year have significant positive management.
