摘要: Magneto-Susceptibility Event and Cyclostratigraphy (MSEC) is used here as a means of establishing sensitive chronostratigraphic markers chronohorizons useful for high-resolution correlation. MSEC composite the magnetic susceptibility (MS) record marine strata coeval biostratigraphic and, similar to chronozones, zones based on data have boundaries that are isochronous. MS, measure concentration grains in sediments, proxies ratio lithogenic biogenic components. Controls detrital input material include eustasy climate, however induced, sea floor/basin subsidence. The development an initial reference curve Middle-Upper Devonian Anti-Atlas region southern Morocco presented discussed context global level transgressive regressive cycles. trends, composed increasing MS magnitudes, correlate well with episodes regression, whereas trends decreasing magnitudes transgression.
