摘要: Plant cells are confined by a network of cellulosic walls that imposes rigid control over the selection division plane orientations, crucial for morphogenesis and genetically regulated. While in animal yeast, actin cytoskeleton is instrumental execution cytokinesis, plant microtubule taking lead spatially controlling executing cytokinesis formation two unique, plant-specific arrays, preprophase band (PPB) phragmoplast. The arrays contingent on acentrosomal nucleation. At onset mitosis, PPB defines cell where partitioning wall later constructed cytokinetic phragmoplast, imposing spatio-temporal relationship between processes. Current research progress field focuses identifying tying links early late events spatial how array regulated cells.
