摘要: Oryza meridionalis is the wild species endemic to Australia. There are eight AA-genome species, one of which cultivated rice, O. sativa, and most genetically distant one. An (IRGC105608) accession, previously identified as being moderately resistant rice sheath blight (ShB) disease, was used donor parent develop an advanced backcross population with US semidwarf cultivar, Lemont, recurrent parent. The genotyped 113 DNA markers a linkage map constructed that spanned 1234.5 cM. ShB disease evaluated in both greenhouse field conditions. Days heading (DH), plant height (PH) culm angle (CA) were recorded because they can confound ratings under Multiple interval mapping qShB9-2 ShB-QTL consistently effective across generations variable evaluation environments, resistance attributed allele all cases. No QTL for any potentially confounding traits this region chromosome 9 cross. Lemont found contribute desirable alleles decreased DH on 8 PH 1, part due gene, sd1, short stature. CA-QTL lack segregation trait, especially generations. Further studies will be undertaken fine identify linked use cultivar development.
