摘要: Objectives To assess the clinical features, pathologic findings, postoperative results and effects of immunosuppressive therapy in patients with Behcet's disease (BD). Methods We reviewed course 9 BD who underwent a total 17 aortic valve replacement procedures prosthetic valves. Results Histological examination commonly revealed diffuse myxoid degeneration (75 percent). Of surgeries, 13 surgeries resulted complications, such as detachment perivalvular leakage dehiscence sternotomy wound, within an average 5 months (range from 1 month to 14 months). The rate was 76 percent (13 surgeries). Four (44 percent) died heart failure or infection associated valve, months.
