摘要: Data are collected at plots of the intensive forest monitoring programme (Level II monitoring) in Germany by federal states and stored a nation-wide database with main task contributing to better understanding impacts air pollutants other environmental factors on ecosystems. Within this feasibility study these data were screened intention outlining conclusive concept for integrated evaluations. As permanent challenge complexly organised monitoring, necessity control measures is underlined transparent documentation univariate properties key basic relationships advocated. Besides different statistical analyses, selected, aggregated, derivative parameters have undergo substantial check-ups their information value respect risks associated chemical or physical stress trees biotic compartments Examples evaluations profundity taken from domains: crown condition, foliar element concentrations, increment trees, ground floor vegetation, condition soil solution. Grounded subject-specific sectoral considerations, concise sets relevant (key) composite should future approaches—together results amending process-oriented modelling—be passed construct models against background current hypotheses about ecosystems, even national scale, reasonable sub-scales.
