Crosslinked PVA/PVP Supported Silver Nanoparticles: A Reusable and Efficient Heterogeneous Catalyst for the 4-Nitrophenol Degradation

摘要: Well-organized and stable silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were successfully prepared within polymeric film of polyvinyl alcohol Polyvinylpyrrolidone as supporting matrix. The free-standing was obtained by using the casting technique. Electron microscopy techniques confirmed formation spherical AgNPs 15 nm size. crystallized in face-centered cubic structure indicated X-ray diffraction. as-prepared nanocomposite exhibited good catalytic properties complete degradation 4-nitrophenol sodium borohydride a reducing agent. are tightly held matrix which facilitates their recovery reuse for several cycles.
