摘要: Multiuser MIMO (MU-MIMO), in which the base station transmits multiple streams to users, has received significant importance as a way of achieving spectral efficiency (SE) and energy (EE). However, these two important design criteria conflict with each other careful study their trade-off is mandatory for designing future wireless communication systems. This paper investigates between EE SE downlink MU-MIMO system adopted by 3GPP LTE-Advanced meet IMT-Advanced targets. The measured as, “throughput (bits) per Joule” while both RF transmit power circuit consumptions are considered. In this paper, given requirement, constrained optimization problem where constraints redefined cubic inequality formulated maximize EE. Then, novel resource allocation algorithm proposed achieve maximum Simulation results demonstrate effectiveness scheme illustrate fundamental trade-offs efficient transmission. Our analytical shed light on “green” network planning
