摘要: Summary The structure of equine synovial tendon sheaths and bursae has been examined by light scanning electron microscopy. Tissue samples were obtained from horses various types ages with no clinical evidence sheath or bursal disorders. The interior both structures was lined a cellular layer superimposed on vascular zone supported fibrous layer. pattern cell distribution the lining varied site to within same depending nature underlying tissue amount movement which subjected. predominantly in scanty, widely separated fibroblasts (eg where it lines palmar ligament, tendons paratendons). In mesotendon extremities, is subjected positive degree movement, areolar type well established folds populated abundant cells oval round shape. foals yearlings, supportive mainly around patches adipose tissue; gradually replaced as animal grew.
