Non-Stoichiometry and Lithium Intercalation in ZrSe2

摘要: The layer compound ZrSe2 can be grown as a degenerate semiconductor, which is ascribed to the charge transfer effect of self-intercalated Zr atoms. self-intercalation much concerned with magnitude energy gap in mother crystal. We have ascertained this by transport measurement ZrSe2-x Sx and TixZr1-xSe2. Intercalation lithium converts crystal into metallic one. LixZrSe2(x>0.4) found superconductive below ca. 1.5K.
