摘要: Scalable video coding (SVC), an extended version of H.264/AVC, is designed to transmit high-quality bitstreams over heterogeneous networks. However, such are sensitive transmission error, thereby severely degrading its quality. Inter-layer prediction in SVC causes errors be propagated not only subsequent frames but also the upper layers, when have occurred lower layers. This paper presents inter-embedding error-resilient scheme reduce distortion caused by loss inter-layer information SVC. The proposed algorithm exploits reversible data embedding hide essential layer without damaging original data. Experimental results demonstrate that method provides a better PSNR performance than frame copy average 4.89dB 2-layer decoder, and 4.54dB 3-layer decoder case whole loss.
