摘要: Using fluorescence in situ hybridization, we located ribosomal DNA loci on prometaphase chromosomes of the diploid species Brassica rapa and oleracea their amphidiploid napus. Based comparisons chromosome morphology hybridization patterns, characterized individual B. napus rDNA according to presumed origins A C genomes. As reported other studies, sum observed (AA genome) (CC was one greater than total number seen (AACC). Evidence is presented that this reduction locus results from loss smallest genome site amphidiploid.
