摘要: Direct volume visualization requires the definition of transfer functions (TFs) for assignment opacity and color. Multi-dimensional TFs are based on at least two image properties, specified by means 2D histograms. In this work we propose a new type histogram which combines gray value with information about size structures. This structure enhanced (SSE) is an intuitive approach representing anatomical features. Clinicians — users focusing much more familiar selecting features their than gradient magnitude value. As proof concept, employ SSE two-dimensional 3D MRI CT data.
