摘要: Adult onset glioma is a rare cancer which occurs more frequently in Caucasians than African Americans, and men women. The etiology of this disease largely unknown. Exposure to ionizing radiation the only well established environmental risk factor, factor explains small percentage cases. Several recent studies have reported an association between season birth risk. This paper reviews plausibility evidence focusing on seasonal interrelation farming, allergies, viruses, vitamin D, diet, weight, handedness. To date, convincing explanation for occurrence adult gliomas decades after exposure at remains elusive.
