摘要: Objective To identify the relationship between maternal cigarette smoking and ultrasound-confirmed placenta previa. Methods A matched case-control design was used. Cases were drawn from New England Medical Center Cambridge Hospital July 1992 through March 1994. Each case delivered by cesarean after 24 weeks' gestation had an antenatal ultrasound examination confirming Matched controls obtained requesting records on first three deliveries referring provider same month as index case. Data potential risk factors of initial prenatal visit, before previa diagnosed. The data analyzed with conditional logistic regression. Results Thirty-two cases ultrasound-documented identified. number confounders associated previa: age (odds ratio [OR] 1.15, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.05–1.26), gravidity (OR 1.4, CI 1.1–1.7), parity 1.1–1.9), prior spontaneous abortion 3.1, 1.3–7.4), elective 3.0, 1.2–7.6), delivery 3.5, 1.3–9.9). crude OR for current 3.0 (95% 1.1–8.6). ranged 2.6–4.4, despite controlling confounders. Conclusion Current is a 2.6–4.4-fold increased
