摘要: RESUMEN La tecnologia aplicada al manejo de la diabetes ha experimentado notables avances dentro ultima decada. Hoy contamos con dispositivos infusion insulina subcutanea continua o bombas insulina, que intentan imitar secrecion fisiologica del pancreas, y el monitoreo continuo glucosa entrega informacion glicemia intersticial durante las 24 horas dia. Los modelos mas modernos incorporan ambas tecnologias en un mismo dispositivo, teniendo incluso capacidad detener frente a una hipoglicemia. En esta revision se abordara funcionamiento bomba monitor glucosa, asi como indicaciones su uso, seleccion pacientes, ventajas desventajas tecnologias.
