摘要: Roughly 436,000 survivors are living with a history of head and neck cancer (HNC), accounting for approximately 3% all in the United States [1, 2]. With advances treatment, long-term survival is increasingly common HNC populations. Despite increasing awareness survivorship issues, many challenges remain. These include lack knowledge on late effects poor integration care guidelines into oncology practice. Survivorship plans (SCPs) important to improve quality survival. Quality should focus management surveillance recurrence second primaries, promotion healthy lifestyle, coordination between providers. This chapter will describe life (QOL) issues survivorship, review current HNC.
