摘要: Abstract The effect of single (SWCNT) and multi- (MWCNT) walled carbon nanotubes on the melt flow instabilities polyethylenes with different topologies was characterized by means a novel capillary rheometer allowing in-situ measurements pressure fluctuations inside die scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis. Our results show that modify main characteristics spurt instability developed linear polyethylene. Furthermore, sharkskin instability, in short chain branched polyethylene, is reduced at low amounts MWCNT SWCNT. Noteworthy, critical shear rate for on-set decreases nanocomposites due to physical interactions between polymer nanofiller. At high rates, gross fracture completely erased based whereas polyethylene amplitude this bulk distortion rather moderated. These changes were confirmed on-line using set-up. Based our results, it concluded drastically affect non-linear molecular dynamic leading instabilities.
