摘要: Providing perceptual quality guarantees for video transmission over wireless channels is important the end-user experience. The paper proposes an algorithm optimization of scalable H.264 with temporal and scalability. supports adaptive unequal error protection so that different layers are protected according to their relevance quality. For each layer, a target packet rate (PER) selected such guarantee, measured using multi-scale structural similarity (MS-SSIM) index, satisfied. Given PER per selects modulation coding scheme number transmit adaptively based on channel state information (CSI) source rates layer. Results show provides immunity against short term fluctuations, balances reliability quality, reduces playback buffer starvation probability, convenient management policy.
