摘要: ABSTRACTPurpose:: We determined the influence of hospital and surgeon volume on various outcome parameters after radical cystectomy for bladder cancer.Materials Methods:: All inpatient discharges cancer (1988 to 1999) from Health Care Utilization Project–Nationwide Inpatient Sample were included in analysis. Hospital individual per year separated into terciles. Outcome measures in-hospital mortality, length stay (LOS), inflation adjusted charge admission. Mortality was compared among levels using Mantel-Haenszel chi-square test while LOS charges ANOVA. Multivariate linear logistic regression analyses used adjust confounding factors. also performed 3 different age strata (younger than 50 years, 69 years 70 or more).Results:: There 13,964 patients who underwent cystectomy.
