摘要: The effects of confinement on the ultrafast torsional reaction auramine O in aqueous solution are investigated through fluorescence up-conversion with 50 fs time resolution. is confined nanoscale water droplets by an ionic surfactant. motion orders magnitude slower than bulk solution. dynamics become faster increasing radius nanodroplet but never reach value, even when as large 10 nm. Time-dependent spectra were constructed and subsequently analyzed using a one-dimensional generalized Smoluchowski equation. An accurate description data was achieved time-dependent diffusion coefficient. This suggested to arise because medium friction reflects broad range scales spanning dynamics. recovered suggests strongly hindered droplet can be qualitatively related solvation measured AOT, consistent being accompanied intramolecular charge redistribution.
