Social, ethical and communication aspects of uncertainty management

摘要: The European project CONFIDENCE identified, conceptualised and addressed social uncertainties through a multi-method research approach. highlighted the faced by publics, emergency management actors decision-makers in nuclear emergencies during recovery phase. It showed that is dominated decisions under uncertainties, non-experts face also different than experts, plans need (continuous) reality check sound communication, openness transparency about may contribute to better decisions. suggests national response policies should consider support capacity of local deal with an or post-accident situation, for instance carrying out their own measurements. This way, can be some situations reduced, communication improved.
