摘要: The reaction of the haemolymph and tissue infected intermediate hosts, Biomphalaria alexandrina Bulinus truncatus to Schistosoma mansoni S. haematobium antigens were investigated using indirect immunoperoxidase technique. A new technique, Agarose cell block was used in collection which helped collecting plenty well formed cells comparison ordinary one cytospin. Collected prepared tissues uninfected B. alexandria fixed then reacted with anti-S. IgG polyclonal antibodies. gave a positive peroxidase represented by brown colour. In haemolymph, detected mainly cytoplasm amoebocytes. tissue, it epithelial lining tubules, male lumen tubules female oogonia along periphery tubules. similarity strength distribution truncates observed as compared control. Thus, technique proved be an effective indicator for schistosome-antigen snails.
