摘要: Abstract Objective: To test for differences in the amount and activity of peritoneal macrophages present fluid women with, without endometriosis using prostaglandin release by culture as a marker. Patients: Women reproductive age undergoing laparoscopy infertility or chronic pelvic pain with postoperative diagnosis sterilization. Methods: Peritoneal was aspirated during laparoscopy, volume recorded, were isolated via Ficoll Paque gradient kept primary culture. PGE 2 PGF 2α cells measured before after stimulation zymosan. Results: had significantly more than controls. released those control group: 8.4 ± 2.0 versus 1.4 0.4 ng/ml/10 6 (mean SEM, p=0.0005) : 10 4.3 (endometriosis) 1.8 (control) p = 0.045). Conclusion: There is significant increase prostaglandins from endometriosis. These might alter uterine tubal contractility, thereby affecting fertility.
